Fellowship of Virtue Defends Westfall from the Defias Brotherhood
Posted By: Tancred Redstar

Kerine, Krendal, Stoutmantle & Malithar
The Fellowship of Virtue in Azeroth met up in Westfall at the tower atop Sentinal Hill for an assault on the Deadmines, home to the nefarious Defias Brotherhood. The group of thieves, led by the evil Edwin VanCleef, had overrun the once peaceful farms and pastures of Westfall and already has pockets of rogues and spies in Elwynn Wood.

Maistreas, Krendal, Kerine and Malithar headed off for the Deadmines to seek out and defeat the powerful VanCleef and his henchmen. Fighting their way through the mines, they came across first a room full of ship masts, then a foundry where a large anchor had been completed. Finally, they discovered a large cannon, which Krendal loaded with powder to blast a huge door down with. Behind the door lay the secret to the Deadmines and the Defias plot - VanCleef was almost done constructing a gigantic warship to terrorize the coast, cut off maritime trade and threaten the Kingdom of Stormwind.

The band of heroes managed to fight their way up to the main deck of the ship where they found none other than Edwin VanCleef himself. After a furious battle, VanCleef lay face first on the deck of his evil dream, dead and no longer a threat to the people of Stormwind. Returning to Sentinel Hill, Krendal presented Marshal Stoutmantle, leader of the People's Militia in Westfall, with the head of VanCleef. Stoutmantle proclaimed Krendal a hero of the people and a defender of freedom with a hearty cheer.

The Fellowship of Virtue meets each Wednesday for a weekly guild Adventure Night. The objective and location change week to week based on who needs what quests accomplished. The schedule is published on the guild event calendar. Help choose where we'll go in the coming weeks - head over to the Message Board and join in the discussion! As usual, never hesitate to ask questions or request information if you're new to the lands of Azeroth!

7:15 pm - Bunny Bash by Lady Sebrina and Keepers of Dawn at the East island Wheat Field. Gates to the event will be opened directly from the Host House to proceed with the event immediately after the Openning Ceremony. This is a Mad Romp to destroy as many Vorpal Bunnies in the allotted time as possible.. .over 500 of the little buggsies. Come with near empty bags to claim your share of Loot and Prizes.

8:00 pm - Moonglow Pirate's Regatta by Bad JuJu and Red Dagger Pirates. Registrations will be taken before Opening Ceremony at the Host House and during the Bunny Bash at the Wheat Field. Boats will be lined up along the shoreline "Where the Wheatfield be," All keys to that ship will be collected at the rally point prior to the start of the race, mark your keys, ships must be given a name, BOTH keys must reflect the name of your ship as they may recall to your vessel at anytime. You must complete the course and find Bad Juju at the finish line that will be marked with a simple barrel and bottle of wine. There are no prizes for second best so winner takes all ...Over a Million in gold.

This is much more than a Regatta, but more an obstacle course, "the course be simple as picking sea shells from the shores, however. Be now warned thar be "Pirates" in them waters. Be prepared to navigate through rough seas and face uncertain fate as ye circle the island of Moonglow."

9:00 pm - Island Madness by Lady Evadne Howard. Come prepared to see what happens when High Level Treasure Chests are opened. Will there be Danger? - My My - are you ready to Fight the Spawn from a 6th level Treasure Chest? -or do you have any cunning skills, or attributes that can aid you in such a venture? Companions to aid? Will there be Loot? Most assuredly So!!!

This Treasure Hunting and Spawn Killing Extravaganza on One Island with several Treasure Chests will begin from Moonglow Festival North House, just up the North Road from the NorthGate Library. It immediately follows the finish of the Pirate Regata, so gates to the North House will be provided from the Wheat Field and also from the (Host House) as well.

10:00 pm - Pet Tournament by Envinyatar and United Tamers of Britania. This is a Felucca based event on Occlo Island, not only for Tamers, but spectators as well. Do you have a pet that you would match against another? Different catagories and matches are available.

Have you ever had the chance to see what one of these great beast can do with-out saying the words Ooho - ooho? If you are shy of Felucca, don't be! Tamer's rule should any (unforseen - and un-thinkable) disturbance occur.

Gates to the event and pre-entry will be made available at the Moonglow NorthGate Host House.

11:00 pm - Late night dungeon munchies? Oh, another Dungeon Crawl because we just aren't ready to quit the festivities! This event also will also proceed from the NorthGate Library, Host House. Just to make it fun - we will have a few drinks on the house for everyone that comes by, and then have a friendly vote on what Dungeon everyone would like to have a run at!

-A little song and Lyric perhaps, or just general conversation, while people move about and prepare their best gear to descend into the Depths of Sosoria's most Vial Abominations

11:30 pm - Have your gear on and ready to Rock the terrain below the lands of Sosaria. We shall gate to the Dungeon of Preference from the Host House. Who knows what may come!

Afterward - Yee may resume your course of libation, song, dance, and celebration at the Host House, or find the peace of thy bed - for tomorrow is yet another day of Spring Celebration.

Sunday, April 30th
7:00 pm - Easter Egg Hunt by Lady Xotche of Meade. This is a Classic for the beginning of Spring, and though we have pushed the date out a bit, the concept of finding the eggs and winning the prize still applies. Who can say what bunnies or maybe gnomes do while we are not watching. Who hides those colored eggs in the new flowers of Spring?

Everyone meet at the Observatory on the Eastern most shore of Moonglow Island to start this 'Run and Find' Event of Bright Color and 'Reward in the End.' Again, gates will be provided to the event from the Host House should you be unsure of the path or even the way back!

8:00 pm - Moonglow Bay Net Toss by Lady Evadne Howard. This will prove to be a Truly Awesome event with boats nestled at the docks and moving out across the waters of Moonglow Bay, already renown for Water Elementals and Sea Serpents. With this event come the Special Nets to raise incredible creatures from the Unknown Depths even in Moonglow Bay.

Included in this Boating Experience are White Leviathan Nets!!! Think you are a Sailor? Are you ready for this experience? You must trust your shipmates and they must trust you! "Fast and True" is the way of a crew! Treasure Troves of the Deap--and Wet Monsters to Meet!

Meet at the Moonglow City Docks to find your crew.

9:00 pm - Amazing Race by Elydir Thessyn and Shadow Hunters Empire- an extraordinary event based on the current Television show "The Amazing Race," as there is always a surprise around the next corner, well, just join in on some fun and see if you can meet the challenges. One can only Jump In - to see what is expected of them.

This event will 'race' for an hour and a half - guts, stamina, and courage! Meet at the Moonglow Bank on the West Green by the Smith Shop.

10:30 pm - Capture the Flag by United Tamers of Britain is another classical events of Wits, Brains and Brawn! Out-wit or Out-fight your opponent to gain the Flag and become Champion. Obviously details are not disclosed for the very nature of Finding and Liberating the Flag shall be revealed at the beginning of the event. Come and find a new adventure and quest for the Festival Flag.

This event will possibly run as long as a hour and a half as well.

12:00 midnight - (Mayday) The Host House will still be open to the wee hours for those that wish to tell a tale or two, or join in on a few Pirate and Island songs. Tis the New Moon of Spring that night....and the early morning birds will be singing, "It's May, It's May, the merry month of May."

Fellowship of Virtue 4th Anniversary
Posted By: Tancred Redstar

The Fellowship of Virtue turned 4 years old this eve, an unprecedented age for a guild in the lands of Sosaria(or even lands beyond!).

Over the years, the Fellowship has been both servant and defender of the lands. Since it's inception, no peril to Sosaria has gone unmet by the will and conviction of the Fellowship. Not just tempered with the steel of war, the guild has also served as a contributor to the community through the long-running Red Wolf Cafe, participating in and even organizing countless other community events and being a general, all-around supporter of player-run efforts.

As the guild enters it's 5th year, it still stands for the Eight Virtues as it has always from it's birth so many seasons ago:

Compassion is nonjudgmental empathy for one's fellow creatures.

Honesty is scrupulous respect for truth - the willingness never to deceive oneself or another.

Honor is the courage to stand for the truth, against any odds.

Humility is perceiving one's place in the world, not according to one's own accomplishments, but according to the intrinsic value of all individuals.

Justice is the devotion to truth, tempered by love.

Sacrifice is the courage to give of oneself in the name of love.

Spirituality is the concern with one's inner being and how one deals with truth, love, and courage.

Valor is the courage to take actions in support of one's convictions.

Soggy Barnacle Opens It's Doors
Posted By: Tancred Redstar

a rum-soaked evening
The Soggy Barnacle Tavern opened it's doors Tuesday night as a precursor to the grand unveiling of Port Baldamor, Chesapeake's newest player-run town. The rum, ale and pirate jokes flowed freely as everyone enjoyed a fine evening of refreshing ocean air on the coast until a strange spirit arrived. Threatening Lenora, one of the Ladys of the Lair from PaxLair, the spirit vowed a horrible misfortune. Lenora, although shaken, remained defiant, refusing to relinquish an ancient tome said to hold great power and was of particular interest to the evil spirit.

Port Baldamor will hold it's official grand opening on Monday, January 16th. The town is located in the south seas of Trammel, on the island known affectionately as "Bald Island" and runes to the town may be found around the realm, including PaxOku's Blue Light Tavern, Teahouse and the Stratics Outpost just east of the moongate in Zento.
