A new Recruit
joins the Fellowship
If you're interested in joining the Fellowship, you've come to the right place!

It helps to know a little bit about the Fellowship of Virtue before deciding to join the guild. Joining a guild, any guild, is a committment and, as such, is a decision that should never be taken lightly or on a whim. A good guild is an active guild and, for many people, becomes the hub of their life in the realm. In the Fellowship, we are all good friends and seek those who are both brave on the battlefield and friendly in the tavern to join us.

What We Do
Group activities and events are the heart and soul of any guild and the Fellowship actively tries to maintain this idea with a myriad of different and fun things to do. We keep a guild calendar that lists when events are scheduled and continually come up with new ones to keep things new and different. We never charge any admission or entry fees to anyone for any event we run, whether theyre a guildmember, friend or stranger.

We enjoy all the typical guild activities such as dungeon treks to fight monsters for fame and fortune, digging up treasure maps, exciting scavenger hunts that rely on teamwork and how fast you can find the hunt items, training nights to build up our skills when needed, the occassional guild tournament held at the end of every month to decide who will be Guild Champion, and many, many other activities.

Less common among most guilds, but greatly enjoyed by the Fellowship, are our own player-run quests and group activities with other guilds we've become friends and allies with. Such events in the past have included 1-night wars, group hunts into the most dangerous dungeons, town tournaments and other activities to build relations with our fellow citizens of the realm.

While we are not big time role-players, we do enjoy interacting with some RP'ers as well as having some of our own from time to time. This is an important aspect for some people who look for a guild to join so it is prudent to mention it here.

The Eight Virtues
Joining the Fellowship
Becoming a Knight or Mage in the Fellowship of Virtue comes with a certain degree of responsibility and honor. We initially like to get to know prospective members a little before inviting them to join the guild. Usually this might mean going on a little hunt or just talking to them for a while. We have no skill requirements and, although most of our members are very advanced skillwise, we accept new players gladly and are eager to help them train their skills and get to know the realm. Only warriors and mages may join the Fellowship(we are not a crafter guild and only accept bards and tamers if they have either a combat or magery skill). Anyone seriously interested in joining the Fellowship should first look over the website to learn about us, especially reading the Guild Laws section. It is not a harsh set of rules but, rather, a common sense guide and outline of the guild's workings. Basically, we believe, support and try to live up to the 8 Virtues.

Once joined to the guild, you would begin your life with the Fellowship as a Recruit. During this introductory period of about a week or two, you are evaluated and watched to see that you work well with others, respect fellow members and treat other people, even strangers, properly(however a situation may warrant).

a few good men and women
After the introductory period, if everyone is in agreement, you will be elevated in rank from Recruit to become a Soldier. After that, there are no stringent requirements to remaining a member provided you do not violate the Guild Laws or become inactive. Inactive members may be removed if they are not seen at a guild event for over a month or two. In time, if your dedication is true, you may be elected to the rank of Knight.

So far, so good? If the Fellowship sounds like the guild for you, if you enjoy group activities and the company of good-natured and honest people, if you believe in the 8 Virtues and if you like to have fun in the world of Britannia, join us for a guild event so we can get to know each other. The Events Calendar always lists upcoming events. Most events which say "Guild Only" are actually open to candidates to attend.
