There will be a designated field of battle. Leaving this area while a contestant in a match will signify a withdrawal from the match, defaulting to the other contestant as the victor. Likewise, if a contestant withdraws, the match is over and all combat ceases immediately.

Conversation and other activity near and around the tournament should be kept to a minimum to avoid distracting the contestants or otherwise taken elsewhere. Under no circumstances should anyone enter the field of battle during a match. Horses should be stabled, moved away from the field of battle or otherwise attended to.

Contestants will stand 6 paces apart and the match will begin when the judge signals to commence. The match ends when the first contestant is defeated or withdraws.

Contestants are expected to arrive fully armed and equipped for the tournament. If they need to re-supply, they should do so while other matches are in progress so as to minimize delays. Running out the supplies during a match is unfortunate but not grounds for a halting and restarting of a match.

Each contestant will be allowed unlimited potions, reageants and other supplies per match, but only 15 bandages.

Violating any of the rules will result in an instant withdrawal of the contestant from the match and tournament. Contestants may not re-enter the tournament, even with another entrant.

The order of battle will be randomly generated by dice and cup. Each victor will move on to confront a victor of another match until there is one overall winner who is designated the Challenger and will then face the current Guild Champion in a Final Match.

If the current Guild Champion is not present at the conclusion of the regular tournament, they have one week to meet the Challenger in a regulation match or they shall forfeit their title. The location shall be the same place as the regular tournament and the time must be mutually agreeable.

The winner of the Final Match will be Guild Champion.
